ARTIST STATEMENT
Photography lies at the core of my visual practice, serving as a means of observation and reflection. Through it, I explore transitional states and sensory experiences that emerge when a sense of inner stability is lost, and the search for ways to reconnect with oneself and the world.
This sense of instability also shapes my intuitive approach to image-making. Rather than maintaining complete control over the frame, I allow room for chance and technical imperfections, treating them as integral to my artistic process. This results in a visual language defined by motion blur, optical distortions, light flares, and semi-abstract imagery. A cool palette dominated by deep blues reinforces a sense of inner tension, distance, and a desire for solitude.
I seek to create a visual space where the viewer can experience a subtle unease in response to what remains unclear or unresolved and, by staying with this uncertainty, come to see change not as a threat, but as an inherent part of the world and of lived experience.
